After you’ve explored the first floor, take the grand staircase up to the second floor, where the old Red Museums four main galleries are located. Each Gallery covers a different time period, and each gallery has a small theater. We thought the films were well done and quite interesting. They run continuously, so you never have to wait very long for a showing.
I was also told by 800 number that we could get a microwave and fridge no problem, but upon arrival I was informed only some rooms had them. but not ours.
Recently, I toured the old Red Museum with some friends visiting from out of town. We had thought it would be a quick stop after touring Dealey Plaza, the JFK Memorial, the Sixth Floor Museum and the West End Historic District, all of which are located nearby. If nothing else, we figured it would be nice to take a break from the Texas heat. When we left the Old Red Museum two and a half enjoyable hours later, we were all impressed with design of the building and the wealth of fascinating historical items located within. Don’t do like we did and park on Commerce on a weekday afternoon, because you will get a ticket if you don’t move your car from the metered parking by 4:00pm.
Here is two situations that help explain why a person would want paper over electronic. And also why electronic over paper. Mr An is a traveling man. Mr An is going to Africa from America where he lives. Mr A’s gets his statements in electronic from, and not paper. This way no body can take his mail out of the mail box at home. And he can get his statements while in Africa. Mr B’s turn. Mr B got fired again from his job. Mr B power service is getting turned off because he can not pay the bill. Since his statements are in paper form, he can still get his bank statements while he can not go on the internet.
Lone Star has made O’Sheas their base camp for the weekend and will also be holding their Bringing in the Weekend party with Bo Dillon on Friday and a lot of St. Paddy’s revelries are on the menu for Saturday.
When your not in familiar territory it’s important to keep a map or Gps system with you at all times, but don’t keep these things out in the open. If you look lost, your going to be a target for less than moral individuals who see you as injured prey.
Don’t get me wrong, just because I’m an atheist doesn’t mean The Church is exclusive to atheists and the like; anyone can go to enjoy a fun Thursday or Sunday night (and sometimes Fridays.) However, it’s also a place where you can bet you won’t be preached to and your religion doesn’t matter. You’ll get to see some interesting shows, meet lots of people with alternative lifestyles and enjoy a drink or two while dancing to industrial music or lounging.
While it will probably be much easier to find space to park a motorcycle than a car, be very aware of what is parked around you. People will be drinking and getting rowdy.
