It’s All About Community With Mokah Coffee Bar In Deep Ellum

Rabbi Moshe tried to help Jesus with bible studies but Jesus seemed to know scripture, read Hebrew and understand theology naturally. Young Jesus would often criticize temple practices and complain about the sorry state of the religious world. Rabbi Moshe pretended to be scandalized but he heard the truth in the young man’s words. Moshe couldn’t wait for the day when he would present Jesus to the temple elders.

We have a nice, icy cold beer and some lunch. By now the crowd at the Spoke is growing even bigger. Bikes are now parking across the street to get into the Spoke. We look at the time of day (remember I started in Central Vermont at 10:30 am) and it well past 2:00 in the afternoon. My “brother” and I like to ride relaxed and under no pressure. This is the most relaxing and gratifying way for us to ride. We decide to start back without ever actually entering the Laconia, Weirs Beach area!

Jesus was a good kid, a little on the quiet side but cheerful, helpful and full of love. He and his Dad were a team. They treated his mother, Mary, like a queen. The two of them would even help clean up after meals and assist with the housework when they could.

In addition to the audio visual presentations, there are dozens of interactive kiosks, photographs and other artifacts. The items on display run from the serious (the handcuffs Lee Harvey Oswald was wearing when he was shot by Jack Ruby in the basement of the Dallas Police HQ) to the kitchy (the specially commissioned Stetson hat worn by JR Ewing on the tv series “Dallas”), but almost all of them are interesting. Did you know that Slurpees, ATMs, the frozen margarita and Doritos were all invented in Dallas?

The Restaurant was newly added to this Days Inn at the time of our stay, and the entrance is just inside the lobby. Free full breakfasts were offered with our room, not just the standard continental fare. The Restaurant manager was handling everything himself. from waiting tables to cooking. I must say he handled it nicely! The food was average but affordable, and, again, since the manager was doing everything himself, I wouldn’t judge the cooking during this stay as normal.

After you’ve explored the first floor, take the grand staircase up to the second floor, where the old Red Museums four main galleries are located. Each Gallery covers a different time period, and each gallery has a small theater. We thought the films were well done and quite interesting. They run continuously, so you never have to wait very long for a showing.

A traveling man knows no end, here and there, on and on, he keeps on going. The express train passes by, no stoppage, the traveling man is on board. Next stop the train passes, till it reaches its destination.

Two sets of washers and dryers are available for guest use. Washers were small but adequate, at .00 each per load. They also have a vending machine if you need to purchase soap.
